Hospitals in Texas would need to provide written information on breast reconstruction options prior to obtaining consent for these procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Such information would include descriptions of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Options in reconstructive breast surgery<\/li>\n<li>Advantages and disadvantages involved with each method<\/li>\n<li>Provisions regarding private and public health insurance coverage<\/li>\n<li>Steps the patient can take when accessing care for reconstructive surgery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can read more about the bill from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legis.state.tx.us\/tlodocs\/82R\/billtext\/html\/HB00669I.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Texas Legislature Online<\/a>.
