Hello?\u201d Her sentiments appear to reflect a growing portion of the U.S. population beyond Orange County, as a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.surgery.org\/media\/news-releases\/survey-shows-that-more-than-half-of-americans-approve-of-cosmetic-plastic-surgery\">survey<\/a> by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) found that more than half of Americans (51 percent) approve of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drkimplasticsurgery.com\/procedures\/\">cosmetic plastic surgery<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The approval percentages broken down by income are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>52% of respondents with an income of under $25K approve of cosmetic surgery<\/li>\n<li>48% of respondents with an income between $25K-$50K approve<\/li>\n<li>45% of respondents with an income between $50K-$75K approve<\/li>\n<li>56% of respondents with an income above $75K approve<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cAs the numbers suggest, people in every income bracket, single or married, male or female, view plastic surgery as a reasonable option today,\u201d said Dr. Felmont F. Eaves III, president of ASAPS. \u201cTaking care of yourself and paying attention to physical appearance is increasingly important to everyone. As both traditional surgical procedures have been improved and refined, and new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drkimplasticsurgery.com\/non-surgical\/\">nonsurgical options<\/a> have become available, aesthetic plastic surgeons have more to offer to our patients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And while it\u2019s common for celebrities to deny undergoing cosmetic procedures, the survey found 67 percent of participants said they would not be embarrassed if their friends and family knew they had cosmetic surgery.<\/p>\n<p>In an unscientific survey, the Orange County Register found similar results when it asked readers if they agreed with Bellino\u2019s statement about Botox with about half agreeing with her, responding that it is a good thing.
