Procedures the women get range from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drkimplasticsurgery.com\/procedures\/nonsurgical\/injectables-botox-restylane-juvederm\/\">Botox<\/a> to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drkimplasticsurgery.com\/procedures\/breast\/breast-augmentation\/\">breast augmentation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"kaltura_player_1374857767\" style=\"border: 0px solid #ffffff;\" src=\"http:\/\/cdnapi.kaltura.com\/index.php\/extwidget\/embedIframe\/entry_id\/0_b7v9tkue\/widget_id\/_483511\/uiconf_id\/5590821?referer=http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/GMA\/video\/divorced-women-seeking-revenge-surgery-13596315&amp;flashvars[autoPlay]=false&amp;addThis.playerSize=392x221&amp;freeWheel.siteSectionId=nws_offsite&amp;closedCaptionActive=false&amp;\" width=\"392\" height=\"221\">Unfortunately your browser does not support IFrames.<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I hadn\u2019t lost weight and done some tweaking, I don\u2019t think I would ever set foot outside the house,\u201d Hunter added. \u201cI don\u2019t think I would have the guts to go out and be in the dating scene.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hunter was married for seven years before her divorce three years ago, and she said that her ex gives her more compliments now than ever before.<\/p>\n<p>GMA\u2019s Ashleigh Banfield asked Hunter: \u201cIs it revenge surgery?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hunter said that she believes for some people it probably is, but for her it was not. She did it to boost her self-confidence.<\/p>\n<p>Dermatologist Dr. Marina Peredo agrees that many women do it for themselves. In fact, she had some cosmetic procedures done after her own divorce.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBreak-up is hard, they feel like they failed at something,\u201d Peredo said. \u201cIt\u2019s very hard to start after many years of marriage, and I think they take time and are doing something for themselves for a change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. John Turk, a NYC plastic surgeon, estimated that about 20 percent of his clients are post-divorce.<\/p>\n<p>One of Dr. Turk\u2019s divorced patients, Kelly Langford, summed up her feelings on the topic: \u201cI think coming here, and seeing Dr. Turk is definitely, after you see your lawyer, probably the most important step after that.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is looking good the best revenge?
