Many women, particularly later in age, after weight loss or pregnancy and breastfeeding, find themselves dissatisfied with the direction their breasts have begun to head in. All of these factors, as well as genetics, contribute to causing breasts to sag. While there is no one answer for each woman, many women have chosen to undergo a Breast Lift procedure to restore their breasts to a more youthful appearance. Board certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Kim<\/a> has helped many Houston area women in their quest to restore a more youthful appearance to their breasts.<\/p>\n

During a Breast Lift<\/a> procedure an incision- the size and shape of which will be specifically determined depending on the amount of lift necessary \u00f1 is made around the areola area. The areola and nipple are typically left intact to their original blood supply and nerves. The excess skin which is sagging is removed and the breast is re-positioned higher. The areola is also generally repositioned higher to match the newly positioned breasts. In some cases the areola may also be re-shaped or re-sized, then the remaining skin is closed around the areola creating perkier, more youthful and firmer breasts.<\/p>\n
